Free Crypto Chart Drawing Tools on Buildix: 11 Tools, Full Chart Settings, Synced Templates — Published by Buildix, a crypto orderflow analytics platform with real-time VPIN, CVD and whale tracking on the 100 most liquid Hyperliquid pairs.

Most orderflow traders still keep two tabs open: one for the data and one for TradingView, because that is where the trend lines, the fib levels and the position boxes live. Starting today the pair page on Buildix has its own crypto chart drawing tools, a full chart settings dialog and templates that follow your account from one device to another. All of it is included in the free tier.

The idea is simple. You read CVD, OBI or the liquidation overlay and plan the trade on the same chart, without copying levels from one window to another.

11 Crypto Chart Drawing Tools on Top of Orderflow

The toolbar on the left side of the chart groups the tools by job: lines, shapes, Fibonacci, positions and text. The full set is trend line, ray, horizontal line, vertical line, rectangle, parallel channel, Fibonacci retracement, long position, short position, text and price label.

Every drawing can be selected, moved as a whole or reshaped point by point. An optional magnet snaps each point to the open, high, low or close of the nearest candle. Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y handle undo and redo, Delete removes the selection and Esc cancels the drawing in progress.

The drawings live on the same chart as the orderflow layers. A horizontal line on a liquidation cluster or a rectangle around an absorption zone stays anchored to price and time while the footprint, the heatmap or the volume profile keep updating underneath.

Long and Short Position Tool With Fees Included

The position tool works the way TradingView users expect. Drag the entry, take profit and stop loss handles to set the prices, then drag the edge to set the time window. A new position starts at a 1.5 risk to reward ratio, so you get a sensible setup on screen from the first click.

The label shows what you need before sizing the trade: risk to reward both gross and net of fees, the percentage and dollar move to target and to stop, the quantity and the notional. Quantity comes from your account size and your risk per trade, 2% by default, with the Hyperliquid taker fee applied on both sides. Every input can be changed on each drawing.

The net figure matters more than it looks on short timeframes. Take a scalp with the stop 0.30% away and the target at 0.45%, a clean 1.5R on paper. Assuming 0.045% taker fee per side, the round trip adds 0.09% to the risk and removes 0.09% from the reward, and the real ratio drops to about 0.92R. The tool shows that number before you place the order, not after.

Chart Settings at the Level of a Full Charting Platform

Right click the chart or open the gear icon to get the chart settings dialog. Every change previews live on the chart, Cancel restores what you had and OK keeps it.

You can pick between seven chart types: candles, hollow candles, OHLC bars, line, area, baseline and Heikin Ashi, which is computed in the browser. Candle bodies, borders and wicks have their own color and opacity for up and down bars. The price scale switches between linear, logarithmic, percentage and indexed to 100, with autoscale, inversion and adjustable margins. Crosshair, grid and last price line each come with their own color, width, style and opacity.

Settings can be saved as named templates and set as your default, next to a few built in presets that include a light theme. The orderflow layers read their colors from the active theme, so the footprint and the heatmap stay readable on a light background too.

Drawing Styles You Can Tune Down to the Pixel

Each drawing has its own style panel. Lines take a color with separate opacity, a width from 1 to 10 px, solid, dashed, dotted or dash dot styles, and extensions to the left or right. Shapes keep fill and border separate. Fibonacci levels can be switched on and off, edited, recolored and extended with custom levels.

Two tabs cover what usually needs workarounds. Coordinates lets you type the exact price and time of each point, which helps when a level comes from a number rather than from a click. Visibility shows a drawing only on the timeframes you choose, so the 4h trend line stays off the 1m chart.

Styles can be saved as templates for each tool and set as that tool's default. The color picker keeps your recent colors and your custom palettes. The quick toolbar that appears on a selected drawing can be dragged anywhere on the chart and remembers where you left it.

Synced Across Devices and Fast With 200 Drawings

When you are signed in, drawings, chart settings, templates and palettes are saved to your account. Open the same pair on a laptop and on a phone and you see the same chart. Without an account everything stays in the browser, with a prompt to sign in and sync.

Speed was the limit set for every option. With 200 drawings on the chart, dragging, panning and idle all hold 59 to 60 frames per second in a production build. Moving the mouse does not trigger a React re-render: only the drawing canvas repaints.

Start With the Levels the Orderflow Already Shows

Open a pair, for example buildix.trade/pair/BTC or buildix.trade/pair/HYPE, pick a tool from the left toolbar and mark the zones where the data is already pointing: the absorption level, the liquidation cluster, the point of control from the volume profile. Then drop a position box on it and check the net ratio before you commit.

A chart you have to leave to plan a trade is only half a tool. Keeping the levels, the sizing and the flow in one place is what makes the read faster the next time price comes back to them.
