1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your experience.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (always active)
These are required for Buildix to function. They cannot be disabled.
Supabase session cookie — maintains your login session. Expires when you log out or after 7 days of inactivity. Provider: Supabase. Data: encrypted session token.
Cookie consent preference — stores your cookie consent choice. Stored in localStorage (not a cookie technically, but functions similarly). Provider: Buildix. Data: consent selections and timestamp.
Deep view counter — tracks daily deep view usage for free tier limits. Stored in localStorage. Provider: Buildix. Data: view count and reset date.
Analytics Cookies (optional — requires consent)
Currently, Buildix does not use any analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future (e.g., Plausible, PostHog), they will only be activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. This policy will be updated at that time.
Functional Cookies (optional — requires consent)
Currently, Buildix does not use functional cookies beyond essential ones. Future uses may include: remembering your preferred chart timeframe, dark/light theme preference, or screener filter settings. These will only be activated after consent.
Advertising Cookies (optional, free plan only, requires consent)
If you use Buildix without a paid plan, some pages (the screener, blog articles and pair pages) can show one ad slot. The slot asks our advertising partners for an ad only if you turned on advertising cookies in the cookie banner. Paid plans, live trials and day passes never see ads, and nothing is requested from these partners for them.
With your consent, when the slot comes into view the page loads Prebid.js from buildix.trade and your browser sends an ad request directly to each partner below. The partner receives the data a browser normally sends with such a request (IP address, browser and device information, the page URL) and may set or read its own cookies or similar identifiers on its own domains. The ad that wins is shown in an isolated frame that cannot read the page, your session or your Buildix account data. We do not send these partners your email, your account or your subscription.

Names and lifetimes of these cookies are decided by each partner and listed in its cookie policy; many browsers block third-party cookies by default. Without consent, or once you withdraw it, the slot shows only our own content (for example a link to our plans) and no request is made to these partners. Withdrawing takes effect at once on the open page, and the ad script is no longer loaded from the next page on.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Buildix itself does not set third-party cookies and does not use social media trackers. The only third parties that can set cookies through Buildix are the advertising partners listed above, only for visitors without a paid plan and only after consent to advertising cookies. Your account data is not shared with them.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page, which reopens the cookie banner with your current choices, or by clearing your browser's cookies and localStorage. You can also configure your browser to block all cookies, though this may prevent you from logging in to Buildix.
5. Changes
If we add new categories of cookies, we will update this policy and re-request your consent via the cookie banner.
