# Bybit Trading Analytics: What You Are Missing
Bybit is one of the top three perp exchanges globally. Fast execution, decent liquidity, solid mobile app. But their analytics are stuck in 2022.

The Bybit Data That Matters
Three things on Bybit are worth tracking that you cannot see on Bybit's own interface.
Funding rate relative to other exchanges. Bybit's BTC funding at +0.02% means nothing in isolation. If Binance is at +0.01% and Hyperliquid is at -0.005%, Bybit is the most expensive venue to hold longs. That information changes your decision. Open interest changes in context. Bybit shows total OI. It does not show whether OI is rising faster or slower than on Binance. When Bybit OI spikes while Binance OI stays flat, it usually means leveraged retail is piling in on Bybit. That crowd tends to be the exit liquidity.
Volume share shifts. If 40% of global BTC perp volume suddenly shifts from Bybit to Hyperliquid over 24 hours, something changed. Maybe a market maker moved. Maybe a whale found better execution. These shifts are leading indicators for liquidity changes.
