10 Chart Indicators — All Built-In, All Free
Most crypto analytics platforms give you a chart with basic candles and maybe an EMA. For anything more, you need TradingView ($15-60/mo) plus a separate orderflow tool ($19-49/mo).
Buildix includes 10 professional indicators directly in the chart — toggle them on/off with one click, no extra subscriptions.
Trend Indicators
EMA (9/21/50)
Three Exponential Moving Averages at the most common periods. The 9 EMA (blue) reacts fast to price changes, the 21 EMA (amber) shows medium-term direction, and the 50 EMA (red dashed) is the longer-term trend filter.
How to use: When 9 crosses above 21 = bullish. Price bouncing off 50 EMA = strong trend continuation. All three stacked (9 > 21 > 50) = trending market.
Supertrend
The Supertrend is an ATR-based trend-following indicator. It draws a green line below price in uptrends and a red line above price in downtrends. The color flip is a clear buy/sell signal.
How to use: Green line below = long bias, use dips to enter. Red line above = short bias. The Supertrend also acts as a dynamic stop-loss — trail your stop along the line.
Bollinger Bands
Standard deviation bands around a 20-period moving average. When bands squeeze tight, a big move is coming. When price touches the outer band, it's stretched and may revert.
How to use: Band squeeze → breakout imminent. Price walking the upper band = strong trend. Touch lower band in an uptrend = buy opportunity.
Volume & Institutional Indicators
VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price)
The institutional benchmark. VWAP shows the average price weighted by volume — where the "real" fair value is for the day. Institutional traders measure execution quality against VWAP.
How to use: Price above VWAP = bullish intraday bias. Price below = bearish. VWAP often acts as dynamic support/resistance during the day.
VWAP Bands (±1σ, ±2σ)
Standard deviation bands around VWAP. These show where price is statistically extended relative to fair value.
How to use: Price at +2σ = statistically overbought. Price at -2σ = oversold. Mean-reversion traders fade moves to ±2σ and target VWAP. Trend traders use ±1σ as trailing stops.
Volume Profile (VA, Prev VA, Naked POC)
Three separate toggles for maximum flexibility:
VA — Today's Value Area: POC (red), VAH (yellow), VAL (yellow). Where 70% of today's volume traded.
Prev VA — Yesterday's levels in purple. Critical context for opening trades.
Naked POC — Historical POC levels that price hasn't revisited. Powerful magnets for future price action.
Support/Resistance
Pivot Points (PP, R1, R2, S1, S2)
Classic daily pivot points calculated from yesterday's high, low, and close. Five levels: Pivot (white), Resistance 1/2 (red), Support 1/2 (green).
How to use: Day traders use pivots religiously. Price above PP = bullish bias, target R1/R2. Below PP = bearish, target S1/S2. Pivots often serve as intraday reversal zones.
Oscillators
RSI (Relative Strength Index)
The RSI value displays live in the chart toolbar with color coding: green when oversold (<30), red when overbought (>70), neutral otherwise.
How to use: RSI below 30 in an uptrend = buy the dip. RSI above 70 after a rally = consider taking profit. RSI divergence (price makes new high but RSI doesn't) = reversal warning.
All Indicators Together
The real power comes from combining indicators. Here's a high-probability setup using multiple Buildix indicators:
- Supertrend is green (uptrend confirmed)
- Price pulls back to VWAP (fair value retest)
- RSI dips to 35-40 (not oversold, just cooling off)
- Price bounces off yesterday's POC (Prev VA support)
- Enter long with stop below Supertrend line
This setup combines trend (Supertrend), value (VWAP), momentum (RSI), and institutional levels (Volume Profile) — the kind of confluence that professional traders look for.
