Hyperliquid Claude Connector: Buildix Is Now in the Official Anthropic Directory — Published by Buildix, a crypto orderflow analytics platform with real-time VPIN, CVD and whale tracking on the 100 most liquid Hyperliquid pairs.

On October 13, 2026 at 19:51 UTC, BTC on Hyperliquid traded at $83,158 with $3.18 billion of open interest. Asked where the liquidations sit, Claude came back with an estimated $79.6 million long cluster 1.3% below price at $82,049, the mirror short cluster 1.3% above at $84,267, and the heavier $478 million bands near $78,406 and $87,910. That answer did not come from training data. It came from the Buildix Hyperliquid Claude connector, which is now listed in the official Anthropic connector directory.

The listing lives at claude.ai/directory/buildix. Any Claude user can now add live Hyperliquid orderflow analytics to a conversation with one click, with no account, no API key and no configuration file.

What the official Hyperliquid Claude connector does

A connector in the Anthropic directory is a remote MCP server that passed Anthropic's review and can be found and enabled from inside Claude. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard that lets an assistant call external tools during a conversation. Until now, using Hyperliquid data in Claude meant pasting a server URL into a custom connector form or running a local server from GitHub. With the directory listing, the Hyperliquid connector is one search away.

The Buildix connector exposes five read-only tools, all computed from Hyperliquid market data that Buildix collects and processes with its own pipeline:

get_orderflow_snapshot reads one market: direction of recent buy and sell flow (CVD), order book imbalance (OBI), flow toxicity (VPIN), funding and open interest.

get_liquidation_levels estimates where liquidations cluster above and below the price, and in full detail how much would be liquidated on moves of 5, 10 and 15 percent.

get_whale_positioning aggregates the long and short notional of the large accounts Buildix tracks for a market, without returning any wallet address.

get_funding_rates ranks every Hyperliquid perp from the highest to the most negative annualized funding, skipping markets under $1 million of open interest.

get_market_screener summarizes total open interest, 24h volume, breadth, open interest weighted funding and the biggest movers.

Symbols follow Hyperliquid naming, so BTC, kPEPE and HIP-3 builder markets such as xyz:NVDA or xyz:GOLD all work.

How to add the Hyperliquid connector to Claude

Open claude.ai/directory/buildix and click Connect, or open the Connectors section in Claude's settings, search for Buildix and add it from the directory. No sign in is requested, because the public server needs no authentication. Then enable the connector for the conversation from the tools menu and ask a question in plain English.

The same connector is available in the Claude desktop app once it is added to your account. In Claude Code, a single command registers the server:

` claude mcp add --transport http buildix https://www.buildix.trade/api/mcp/public `

Questions to ask Claude about Hyperliquid

The connector is built for the questions perp traders actually ask before a trade. A few that map directly to the tools:

"Where are the liquidation levels for BTC on Hyperliquid?" returns the nearest estimated long and short clusters with price, distance and size.

"Which Hyperliquid markets have the highest funding right now?" returns the funding ranking, which is the fastest way to spot crowded longs or shorts and funding arbitrage setups.

"Is there buying or selling pressure on HYPE?" returns the CVD direction, book imbalance and VPIN category for that market.

"Are the big accounts long or short ETH?" returns aggregated whale positioning, so you can see whether size is leaning against the crowd.

"Give me an overview of the Hyperliquid market today." returns the screener snapshot with breadth and top movers.

Claude can chain these in one conversation. Ask it to compare funding on the top three markets by open interest, then pull liquidation clusters for the one with the most extreme rate, and it will call the tools in sequence and reason over the results.

Why a reviewed, read-only connector matters for traders

Every tool is read-only. Nothing on the server can place orders, move funds or touch a wallet, so enabling it carries no execution risk. Each answer states the time of the market data it was computed from, flags a source as stale when it lags, and closes with a line making clear it is informational orderflow analytics, not financial advice.

The server receives only what a tool needs: a market symbol, a detail level and, for the screener, a sort column. It does not read your conversation and does not store tool inputs or answers. Liquidation levels are a model built from total open interest and assumed margin levels, not a record of real positions, and the response says so explicitly. That transparency is the difference between an assistant that sounds confident and one you can check.

Hyperliquid MCP outside Claude

The directory listing covers Claude, but the server underneath is the same public Hyperliquid MCP endpoint that works in ChatGPT developer mode, Le Chat, Perplexity, Grok, Cursor and VS Code. Setup steps for every client are in the Hyperliquid MCP server guide, and practical prompts are in five AI workflows for Hyperliquid traders.

The connector gives the summary view of each analytic. When Claude points at a level worth watching, the live charts, history, alerts and the full deep view per pair are on the Buildix screener, where the same data updates in real time.

Asking an AI about a market used to mean getting a confident paragraph about how things looked a year ago. With live data one click away inside Claude, the useful question is no longer what the model remembers, but what the order book is doing right now.
